John R. Hughes

John Hughes has practiced law for 22 years. He is a native of Huron, South
Dakota. John received his bacheloršs degree from South Dakota State
University in 1979 and his law degree, with distinction, from the University
of Nebraska Law School in 1982. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Hughes
was elected by the law faculty to The Order of the Coif, a national legal
honorary society whose members have achieved "high attainments in the study
of Law." John served as Assistant Editor and Executive Editor of the
Nebraska Law Review. John is a member of the South Dakota State Bar
Association, and Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He is also admitted to practice in Nebraska. |

John represents individuals and corporate clients with diverse,
comprehensive, and often sophisticated needs for legal services. He practices
mainly in the areas of business, medical malpractice, adoptions, serious
personal injury, wrongful death, and municipal law. He has served as City
Attorney of Baltic, South Dakota, since 1996. He has been practicing law for 28
years.
John and his wife Beth, who is the office administrator for Hughes Law
Offices, have been married for 31 years. They have 3 sons: Elliott 21,
Stuart 19, and Evan 17.

Jonathan D. Krueger

Jonathan D. Krueger works in the areas of estate planning, medical malpractice,
personal injury, business law, and real estate law. He graduated from the
University of South Dakota in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Political
Science and English. In 2003 he graduated from the South Dakota School of Law
with a Juris Doctorate degree. Jonathan is a member of the State Bar of South
Dakota. He was born to an Air Force family in Grand Forks, North Dakota and is
married to Heather,
and they have one adopted daughter, Evelyn.

Beth Hughes

A native of Tripp, South Dakota, Beth Hughes graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree from South Dakota State University.
She worked for seven years in television and radio news broadcasting in both the Omaha, Nebraska and Sioux Falls, South Dakota markets before taking a hiatus for several years to be a stay-at-home mom to her and John's three sons.
In May, 2000 she assumed the position of office administrator for Hughes Law Office.
